Enve Notes

A local Markdown notebook that remembers where an idea came from. Capture a quote, track, scene, or campaign moment, then jump back to the source from the note.

A real build, not a public release yet

The first iOS build is running with local vaults, Markdown editing, media captures, journals, search, tags, wikilinks, handwriting, Shortcuts actions, and export. There is no TestFlight or App Store link yet.

Built around your files

Notes that stay useful outside the app.

Plain Markdown

Each note is a Markdown file with preserved frontmatter, so the vault remains readable and portable.

Choose your vault

Use the app's local vault or point Enve Notes at an existing folder without seeding it with unwanted files.

Media captures

Book highlights, listening notes, scenes, episodes, and campaign journals retain a structured link to their source.

Tags and search

Search note text or jump straight to an exact tag with fast, local indexing.

Wikilinks and backlinks

Connect ideas with familiar double-bracket links and see which notes point back to the page you are reading.

Journal

Open today's page immediately, then browse earlier entries without building a separate folder system by hand.

Handwriting

Sketch or write with PencilKit and keep a flattened image available for Markdown readers outside Enve.

Shortcuts

Create a note or open the capture inbox from App Shortcuts, Siri, and automations.

Private by design

No Enve account, analytics, advertising, or developer-operated sync service. Your chosen files are the source of truth.

Development status

Follow along before testing opens.

Enve Notes is still being built and tested alongside the rest of the Enve apps. Release access will be posted to the community when it is ready.
