Privacy Policy for the Enve Apps

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy covers the Enve family of apps (collectively, "the Apps"):

• Enve Book Player (iOS and Android): audiobook and ebook reader
• Enve Music Player (iOS): music player
• Enve Video Player (iOS and Android, also known as EnvePlex): video player
• Enve RomM Player (iOS and Android): retro game player for a user's own RomM server and local game files
• Enve Game Master (iOS): tabletop companion and AI Dungeon Master

The Apps are clients that connect to user-provided, self-hosted services, local files, or user-supplied local model servers. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use any of the Apps. The same policy applies to every app in the family because they all share the same privacy posture.

2. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

The Apps do not collect, store, or share personal information, including:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number

b. User Content and Server Data

All media, tabletop content, metadata, playback position, library data, campaign notes, and AI connection settings remain on your server or your device. The developer does not have access to this data.

For Enve RomM Player, this includes your local game files, ROM metadata, in-game saves and save states, and your controller and app preferences, along with the connection details for your user-configured RomM server. This content stays on your device or travels directly between your device and the RomM server or service you have configured. There is no Enve account, and no Enve-operated data service is involved.

c. Usage Data

The Apps do not collect analytics, tracking data, or usage metrics.

3. How Information Is Used

No personal or usage data is collected, processed, or shared. All functionality occurs locally on your device or between your device and the servers you have configured.

4. Third-Party Services

The Apps do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Playback position, library state, and downloaded media may be stored locally on your device.
• Server credentials (passwords, tokens, API keys) are stored securely on your device, in the iOS Keychain on iOS and Android's encrypted storage on Android.
• Optional sync (for example, iCloud / CloudKit on iOS, or sync provided by your chosen backend such as Audiobookshelf, Jellyfin, or Plex) routes data only between your device and that service. Nothing is routed through any Enve-operated server.
• No data is transmitted to the developer.

6. Children's Privacy

The Apps do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated. Changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date.
